Finding Your Drafts List
Clicking the "Order Entry" tab at the top of the PEAK 4.0 window will take you to your list of draft orders.
To start a new draft, click the "New Order" button at the top right of the list of drafts. To resume a previously saved draft, simply click on it from the list.
The list of drafts can be sorted by the date they were created, the name you have saved them under, or their progress towards completion. Click on the arrows next to each column heading to sort using that column.
Here, the drafts have been sorted by name. The column heading shows an arrow pointing up to indicate the column is being sorted in ascending (top down) order; alphabetically, in this case. Clicking the arrow again will reverse how the column is sorted.
Here, the drafts are now sorted by name in descending (bottom up) order; in this case, reverse alphabetically. Clicking the arrow a third time will undo the column sorting and return the list to its default order.
Saving an Order as a Draft
To save an open draft, click the "Save" button at the bottom right of the order entry screen. Note that you must fill out at least one field before you can save a draft - there has to be something to save.
You will be prompted to name your draft.
Click the "Save Draft" button to save your current progress and return to the order entry screen. You can continue to enter information if you wish.
Deleting a Draft
If a draft is no longer needed, click on the three vertical dots next to it in the list of drafts and select "Delete."
You will get a pop-up message to confirm you actually want to delete the draft, as it cannot be recovered afterwards. Click "Confirm" to delete the draft, or click "Cancel" to go back.
Once you have submitted your draft order, it will be also deleted from your list of drafts.
Templates
In a future release of PEAK, you will be able to save an order as a "template," a reusable draft that can be used to enter orders with the same or similar details without having to re-enter all of the information.
