Managing Your Dashboards

Modified on Fri, 07 Jul 2023 at 11:29 AM

To manage your created dashboards, click the plus button next to your list of dashboards to open the "Manage Dashboards" page.

From the "Manage Dashboards" page, you can rearrange, hide, rename, edit, and delete dashboards. You can also change which dashboard is your "default," the one shown when navigating to the Dashboard tab in PEAK 4.0.

Rearranging Dashboards

To rearrange your dashboards, click the six dots in the top left corner of the dashboard you wish to move. You can then drag it to a new position.

After dropping "New Dashboard" in its new position, note that the other two dashboards have shifted to the right to accommodate the change.

Hiding Dashboards

To hide a dashboard, click the eye icon in the bottom left corner of its tile.

After clicking, the icon will have a slash through it, and the dashboard will disappear from the navigation list at the top of the PEAK 4.0 window.

To unhide the dashboard, simply click the eye icon again.

Changing the Default Dashboard

To change your default dashboard, click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the tile of the dashboard you wish to set as the default. A menu will appear.

Click "Set as Default" to make the selected dashboard your default dashboard. Now, when clicking on the Dashboard tab at the top of the PEAK 4.0 window, you will go to the dashboard that was just selected.

Renaming Dashboards

To rename a dashboard, click on the three vertical dots at the top right of its tile. Select the "Rename" option.

This will open a dialogue window prompting you to enter the dashboard's new name. Once it is entered, click "Save".

You will now see the name in both the dashboard's tile in the Manage page, and in the list of dashboards at the top of the page,

Editing a Dashboard

To edit a dashboard, click the three vertical dots at the top right of its tile and select "Edit".

This will take you into "Edit Mode" in the dashboard you clicked on, where you can add, rearrange, or remove widgets, similar to when you first created the dashboard.

Once you are finished making changes, be sure to click the "Save" button at the bottom right of the screen.

Deleting a Dashboard

To delete a dashboard, again click on the three vertical dots at the top right of its tile in the "Manage Dashboards" page. Select "Delete".

You will get a popup asking you to confirm the deletion. Click "Cancel" to go back, or "Confirm" to proceed.

Note: If the dashboard you are trying to delete is currently set as your default dashboard, it cannot be deleted. Instead, you will get an error message at the bottom of the screen:

After deleting the dashboard, its tile will disappear, and it will no longer be in the list of dashboards near the top of the screen, either.

Using the Down Arrows

You can also manage your dashboards by clicking the down arrow next to each dashboard's name. This will give you the options to change your default dashboard, rename dashboards, edit dashboards, and delete dashboards.
